Currently, Grendene has about 18 thousand employees, spread over 4 branches in the Northeast and South of Brazil. The company is a reference in the direct manufacture of footwear, known and distributed throughout the country and the world.
"Stepping into someone else's shoes" is a very common expression when referring to empathy. In fact, empathy goes much further than "putting on the other person's shoes", empathy means connecting with the emotion that that experience created in the other person.
In order to make this experience possible for its employees, Grendene's B2E e-commerce was created. With this, the company managed to improve the buying experience of the products that are born in its factories by its employees. This has generated a number of gains, such as greater engagement of the professionals with the organization and a better understanding by the employees of the customer experience.

The project consisted in the development of an internal e-commerce platform to encourage and facilitate product purchases for employees. Through a private login, each employee can access the web platform in a very intuitive way to view the products and make the purchase request at any time of the year.
The creation of Grendene's B2E e-commerce aimed to revolutionize the way its employees enjoy what they help produce, resulting in a true digital transformation for the organization.
The e-commerce system has made it possible to offer a richer portfolio of novelties, products that were previously inaccessible and even exclusive items, updated on a weekly basis. With easy access and a predictable delivery process, employees can make purchases with their family members, in the comfort of their own homes, and follow all the stages until the final delivery of the product.
Much more than offering a benefit, the Grendene B2E e-commerce represents the desire to strengthen the relationship between the company and its employees, bringing them closer to the brand and providing a different and innovative way of inviting them to put on the shoes for a journey of discovery.

We started development on July 5, 2021, with assisted operation on November 3, 2021. During 4 months, we applied our digital journey and managed to deliver the product that revolutionised the way Grendene related to its employees.

The support of the UX team allowed a look at usability, focus on user experience and change of mindset, to build a digital product in a simple way in the MVP concept and, evolving, after using the product and feedback with users," says Priscila, commercial account manager at Levva.
Andrei reports that "the new sales model for employees has totally changed! In addition to having more options, it is possible to check out products online and receive them faster, because we offer stock items in e-commerce. Grendene prioritized providing the best experience to its employees, thinking about each profile and buying process".
